Oh, I’ve just been placed in LAUNCH! Wasn’t my first choice, but I’m very sure I’m going to have lots of fun anyway! :D

Very Nice
Has anyone in this cc have been into the Medicine and Research Connections one? I’ve been placed into it and I was wondering how significant the pre-O program is to premed people or if it’s just an introduction to the number of opportunities premed students have at WashU.

Anyone doing campus comedy?

I was a part of the performing arts until 10th grade and stopped shortly after. I heard the pre-o prepped you for most of them so I signed up. NEVER done improv though so I hope it won’t be too unsettling (or embarassing!).

Anyone have experiences to share?

WUTV’s pre orientation program is really fun. I did it two years ago and I’ve made two of my best friends in Wash U in that program. When I did the program they trained us to use the equipment, editing software, and showed us the basics of using the studio and broke us up into teams that made movies. We took a trip to a tv station, to the loop, and to play demoball. This year its changed so that each group of students will be creating a show idea and then creating a pilot episode.

That’s great and all, but this thread is literally more than two years old.
