Registration for SPOT opens on June 3. I was just wondering if any current undergrads could give their experiences with SPOT.

I already made plans to be out in the west during that time visiting family, etc. and it would probably cost $500 to change flights around in addition to the cost of the program (since it says usually the most they pay for is half).

Personally, I am pretty familiar with Stanford's campus, somewhat familiar with the community, and I met a lot of people at Admit Weekend. I'm trying to decide if it's worth going.

I'm sure other people are in similar situations, so any personal experience you could share would be great!

I have heard from many people that SPOT was a great experience. I didn’t have the chance to participate, but I think it would’ve been awesome.
That being said, if you’re already familiar with Stanford and people and it would cost you so much to participate, I’m not sure that it’s worth it. SPOT or not, you’ll definitely meet tons of great people your first weeks at Stanford. But if you don’t care about spending the money and you’re an outdoorsy type or whatever, definitely go for it.
