I understand that if I’m not admitted to the Pre-Professional Scholars Program, I might be considered under regular decision. Will this disqualify me from scholarship offers?
no, I don’t think so. I just found out I’m being considered for the Pre-Professional Scholars Program, I applied RD and I got a Michelson-Morley scholarship.
hello! I’m a current PPSP student. When you guys find out about PPSP interviews–feel free to ask me!
Hi, there! I have been selected to interview for Case Western’s Pre-Professional Scholars Program. Can you give me an idea of some of the questions you were asked during the interview? Thank you!
Glad to have found this thread. Can any of you who have been considered for the PPSP tell me about your academic profile? My daughter is a junior, we just visited, she loved the school and is hoping to be qualified to apply for the premed scholars program. thank you for anything you are willing to share!
FYI the CWRU website says: The average Pre-Professional Scholars Program candidate for the CWRU School of Medicine will have ranked at least in the top 10 percent of his or her senior class and have an average SAT composite (math, critical reading and writing) score of 2200-2300 or an average ACT composite score of 31-34.

Did your daughter take SATs/ACT yet? Has she done any volunteerign in a medical setting?
@lernder, The PPSP interviews are coming up in a couple of weeks. Can you tell us what to expect?
bopper - thank you so much for your response. My daughter scored 33 on the ACT and has volunteered at a hospital during the summer for the last 2 summers and will be doing it again this summer. She is 4th overall in her class - small school (78 in her class) - top 5%. I would imagine the program is competitive! She is very focused on activities that will continue to give her experience and strengthen her application.
@arvizuk I would monitor this subforum and when the PSPP students post if they get accepted take a look at their profiles and what other ECs are they doing. Are they shadowing doctors? Doing research?
bopper - thank you very much. I will definitely check this board regularly. Grateful for any postings about the program & interviews!
