I’m aiming for 230+, possibly even 240 if I don’t make stupid mistakes.

^I’m going for the low 220’s; I figure I just need to beat 223 to be safe for the CA cutoff. But I certainly wouldn’t mind a 240.

So I have the 2008/9 PSAT practice booklet- anyone know where I can get explanations?

does anyone know where we can get LEGIT old psats online/pdf form?

^ Also would like to know

Yeah. I have the official one but do you guys thinking taking random BB sections would help?

^Yes.

I think I’m as ready as I can be by Wednesday, but my ultimate nightmare is running out of time since when I take practice tests I tend to be subconsciously lenient on time… Only one practice test I took so far did I just breeze through (finished everything in like half time) and got a 214ish. Hopefully it’ll be like that on the real one D:

I have the answer key, but cannot figure out the reason for the correct answer to # 20

(x+y) (x ^2 - y ^2)

a. x=y
b. x=-y
c. x^2=y^2
d. x^2=-y^2
e. x^3=y^3

Correct answer c.
I thought b

We’re almost there, any last regrets or anything?

One thing is for sure though, I’m pretty sure Direct Hits and PR Hit Parade list will help me out a lot in CR.

@azcpamom, the question said “must” be, right? x doesn’t necessarily have to be equal to -y, since it could be y as well. It works, but it doesnt HAVE to be. However, since x^2 - y^2, x^2 HAS to equal y^2.

So who’s taking it on Wednesday and who’s taking it on Saturday?

I’m taking it Wed.

Wednesday :(

Wednesday. Who will be the first people to take it? Hawaiians? :P

Probably East Coast people. Hawaiians should take it last.

Oh I totally knew that. xD Has anyone taken it yet? (people from other countries)

^ Internationals don’t take it.

I’m taking it tomorrow woot woot. After this I’m taking a break from standardized testing. Too much stress. :'(

taking it tomorrow, I wish I had studied But idk…I need about a 210 to become a SF, here’s hoping
