I search broadly their websites but I can't find prerequisite courses for transfer applicant. I thought schools usually have a list of prerequisite courses on their website??

Prereqs depend on what your intended major is.

It will be general studies, or economics. I looked their specific major website but I can’t find any prerequisite information either.

All I can find from UMich website is this;
•Progress towards completion of general degree requirements, including transferable course work in natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and foreign language.
•Progress towards completion of prerequisites for major area of study. Students applying to the LSA Computer Science program, the Screen Arts and Cultures program, or the Organizational Studies program, in particular, must complete prerequisite courses to be considered for admission.

So Does it mean I need to complete each 1 course from natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and foreign language if I apply to econ?

It obviously wouldn’t hurt. You should probably focus on some calculus and econ courses also.

All LSA students need 4th semester proficiency (2 years) of a foreign language. It’s better to start now.
And yes, you also need the humanities, social sciences, etc. classes because you’re getting a Liberal Arts degree. You’re supposed to be “well-rounded” when you graduate.

If you’re wondering…

[Umich Economics Pre-requisites and Concentration Requirements](<a href=“http://www.lsa.umich.edu/econ/ug/concentration"]Umich”>http://www.lsa.umich.edu/econ/ug/concentration)

Basically, Micro and Macro Econ (Intro levels) and Calculus I; however, they say you should take more Calculus courses if you’re seriously considering this major. I hope this helped! :)
