Right now I attend Baruch College in New York, its a small business oriented college. I've decided that business is not the career choice that I want to make and have decided that I wanted to transfer to a different school and study something else, which is psychology and go on a pre-med course. I'm applying to mostly top 25 schools, I have a competitive gpa and have a lot of extra curriculars, but the only problem that I have is since Baruch is a business oriented school I haven't been able to take pre-req courses that are required for a psych major at other colleges. Will this severely damage my chances of transferring? i.e. I want to go into psychobiology at UCLA but most of those pre-req classes like orgo chem etc... aren't available to me at my current college, I understand that there is a comments section on the UC application to state my current problem though. But UCLA is a bad example since they take into consideration community college students over 4 year college students.

P.S. In my essay I want to state that the reason for me transferring is lack of diverse classes, and only business oriented classes. But those aren't the only topics in my essays

Thanks in advance for the all the help and guidance
