Pre-Screen Results list for class of 2024

My son passed his Shenandoah prescreen!! Notified by email today.

We heard back from Point Park within a day and a half (passed). It’s really all over the place so I wouldn’t take one person’s timeline as the norm. We’re waiting on 12 other schools, all submitted weeks ago. Certainly a test of patience!

@NYYFanNowMTdad D submitted at IU on 10/1 and received a message in her Get Acceptd account on 10/10. We asked for the early November date for in-person audition, so that might have something to do with the timing.

anyone else waiting on Syracuse? they said 2-3 weeks, next week is 5 weeks…we checked in 2 weeks ago & they confirmed they had everything…i know many of you heard quickly so???

@NYYFanNowMTdad have you checked junk? that’s where it was for me

incessantly LOL @universitygirl44

@NYYFanNowMTdad wow! I’m so surprised it is taking so long to hear from Syracuse . So frustrating. Hopefully good news will be headed your way soon .

The waiting is painful. I can’t wait until we have a set schedule. We submitted to Syracuse on 10/6 and heard on 10/17. It might be worth following up given it has been 5 weeks and they state 2-3 weeks.

I have been waiting for Cincinnati since end of August

Cincinnati was an odd one. We just received an email confirming we had an audition. We submitted our preference of dates for the audition on application portal and they came back with a confirmation in a week later. We did submit the prescreens on GetAccepted on the same day we completed our request for audition on the application portal. I would check the application portal to see if you can figure out what is going on.

Not sure how much I will be in this thread as S is primarily applying to Acting programs (MT for schools that do not offer straight acting); so only needed to submit prescreens to 3 schools - passed for Pace, waiting to hear from BOCO and still have to submit to Coastal (although after reading the venting thread I am worried we may be too late for Coastal - ack!). Congrats to all who have heard back and passed so far!! Getting results is FUN!!

I just noticed that on our Cincinnati portal we were missing a fee. Do you recall if you had paid that fee before they confirmed?

thanks @CBSQandA , i went on the CCM portal & filled out the request dates to audition but we immediately got an email stating that we would be notified of our date upon review of the pre screen… so Im not sure if that was holding us up or not??. there was also that fee you referenced, but it said its a non refundable audition fee, which i figured we should wait till passing the pre screen before paying the audition fee??? like everything else in this process, totally confusing.

@modanbsmt001 meant to tag you too…so in summary just completed the audition date form, had sent the PS via aceptd about a month ago, does the audition fee need to be paid now? what if we arent offered a . slot?

@NYYFanNowMTdad My D submitted for CCM via prescreen on 9/19 then completed the application w the audition date request and paid the fee ect on 10/2. Not a word on if she passed or not yet

@CBSQandA @NYYFanNowMTdad I did pay the GetAccepted Fee of $30 and $60 audition fee. I heard this is the first year they are doing prescreens so that might explain things. I hope everything works out. It is so tough keeping track of all of this.

@NYYFanNowMTdad We went ahead an paid the audition fee, since I think that most colleges require a fee when you send the prescreens (like in Acceptd, for example). We have not heard back yet. My S did a live pre-screen in Cleveland last weekend.

@BrennaK we paid the acceptd fee of $30 for ccm when we submitted the materials about a month ago, based on feedback from others on here we just paid the " non refundable audition fee" of $60 too…gotten numb to taking the credit card out LOL just hope we actually get to audition…better to laugh than cry- right!!!

@NYYFanNowMTdad Oh! I see what you mean now. It is a little confusing for CCM since they haven’t done prescreens before. Yes… the credit card gets quite the workout. People have asked me how much I’ve spent between my D’s 2 years of auditions and now this year with my S and my standard answer is “I do not want to know”. Lol.

Re CCM! Geez that’s so confusing!

We paid $60 with the application on common app and $30 with Get Accepted for prescreens, is there another fee?

We submitted 10/4…

There was also the medical/parent permission forms… which I missed until recently because I assumed they ask us to fill that out if we got an audition?
