FIU requires 4 credits of math so I'm taking an online class of both Trig. and Pre-Calc. Both are half a credit. Will this be difficult? My counselor told me theres like a lot of trig in pre-calc so it shouldn't be that difficult.

No, you should be fine. Precalc has a lot of trig once your learn the unit circle. That’s usually second semester. Either way it’s still two math classes so there still will be a level of difficulty.

WI to FL? What you drew you to FL?

Top Gun Allstar cheerleading my dream,

I took precalculus my senior year of high school. I’m not the best student in math, so the class was extremely challenging. Pretty much after the first semester you will be dealing primarily with the unit circle and its properties (sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, cot, etc.)

If you’re good in math and willing to put effort into it, it shouldn’t be too difficult. So yes, like your counselor said, both trig and precal coincide with each other. I’m surprised they offer it as two separate courses in high school.

in my school precalc and trig is one class. it is a bit challenging, but it’s not unusual for them to be together

Same at my school (precalc and trig are one class), at least for the honors students it is viewed as much easier after taking Algebra 2. Personally I have found it easy so far/it is my highest grade in a math class, but it varies by person. That being said I think you will be able to handle it/do well.

THE FIRST THING I LEARNED IN PRECALC was the unit circle…

^ I Learned that In College Algebra/Trig LAST Year O___O You’re LUCKYYY

Sigh - I’m currently taking Pre-Calc and it’s alright, just a lot of extra work.

My Honors precalc/trig class has suddenly turned into a physics class. And let’s just say that I’m not that great at physics … at all… :(

Lol why do you say that?

Thanx guys, makes me feel much better because maths my best subject and so far in algebra 2 im like the top student, im with all the dumb juniors and seniors who arnt behind, i started highschool not caring at all, that has changed dramatically now…

So if i get Through alg 2 easly will it not be that difficult?

Not necessarily.

What will be difficult?
