I’ve been struggling with pre-cal too. I find this website to be kind of helpful CalcChat.com

it shows the steps for all the odd problems (instead of just the answers)

I took precalc online over summer and I skipped a lot of stuff that looked unimportant or hard to me and I’m doing really well in Calc AB so far. I don’t think I’ve used a single concept from precalc so far.

Do your precalculus classes teach trig? Maybe that’s why some people don’t find it hard, I’ve heard some schools have separate trig classes before precalculus, or they teach it in Algebra II, and that way you’re ready for the trig in precal. But I’m new to trig and I just can’t wrap my head around it, and a lot of my classmates are struggling with it as well (although probably not as much as I am).

But…I’d imagine you would have to use trigonometry in Calculus, right? Why would we spend so much time on trig in Precalculus if it wasn’t going to be necessary for Calculus?

Maybe you could find someone on here who could tutor you via skype…maybe…or maybe not, I don’t know
