Alg 2/Trig. Easiest joke of my life. I know it already.
Next year, precalculus, if taking precal over the summer doesn’t qualify me for IB Calculus.

Yeah, it’s definitely a joke. that sucks lol. your school has no APs? /:

we have 3 APs.

AP Comparative Government(Taken by Sophomores)
AP Government(Taken by Non-IB seniors or people who need an elective)
AP Stat, which doesn’t have enough students.

I’m taking the BC exam next year by online course

MIThopeful16- I really feel for you. Precalculus is sooo easy. It will be such a bore for you.

It’ll be alright. It’ll be a good review to get ready for calculus the year after.
Honestly though, I wish we had AP here.

Man I just hate to see kids like you being held back though. The current school system sucks. We should be able to take what we want if you ask me… If we fail, it’s our problem- not the school’s.

I agree completely. That’s a drawback of this education system.

our precalculus is called math analysis and is really precalc + calc AB. the teacher is crazy smart (MIT undergrad + grad, former boeing engineer). im looking forward to it. i hear AP calc BC is a breeze compared to this class.

and he does cartwheels into the classroom once in a while

dammnnn what a beast

yeah. but he can be mean i heard. for example, i heard that instead of giving kids seats using an alphabetical system, he ranks them according to mathematical prowess

my friends teacher staples burger king applications to failed tests

^ damn. That’s harsh.

lol our IB Math starts adding calc at the end, but it’s vector calc.

^^ HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH LOL THAT MADE MY DAY

oh btw @ MIThopeful16 i suggest Sullivan’s Preacalculus 8th Edition tb if you want to self-study. HELLA GODLY

lol I have his 5th edition. I believe the HL Class uses his newest one. I got the 5th for free from my Alg 2 teacher.
