Hi, I'm taking pre-calculus at school. My teacher doesn't really explain the concepts well, and I was wondering if any of you have any websites/books that could help.[preferably sites that have helped you before] I'm usually good at math...it's just my teacher makes it confusing.
Thanks!

yahoo answers webmath

umm youtube had some pretty informative lessons... i forget what the channel/author was, but there are so many topics that they cover. It's hard to miss when you search.

did you take Algebra 2? or II...or 3/4...or 102 or w/e your school calls it

yeah i took algebra 2. i did well.
its just really frustrating because my teacher just ends up confusing everyone and making things so complicated.
thanks for your help!

My pre-calculus teacher last year played solitaire, screamed at us, and did nothing for 30 minutes every day in 1st semester. Everyone complained and we got a different teacher 2nd semester.

You don't really have it that bad...

Since you're good at math, pre-calculus is the level when reading the book closely is good enough to understand all the concepts alone. Good luck.

i like my precalc teacher...he's not the most polite person thgh...well neither am I :b

I remember my Precalc days. I personally really liked the textbook, so I never paid attention in class. It was like: go to 3rd period, open up textbook, read the section, do the homework problems for the week, finish anything left at home. I don't even know what my teacher was doing... I never remember looking up at the board and listening for more than 30 seconds at any time, and she never called on me. Good old days.

Now I have to pay attention to my teacher, because my calculus textbook is utterly confusing. I swear, it uses the most basic problems to explain math concepts, then the homework is BAM, super hard problems.

Just read your textbook.
