precollege courses

I've heard about highschoolers taking college courses
whether it's to add to their resume or to better realize their dreams.

Are precollege courses considered those college level courses?

No. College level courses are courses that count for college credit.

Precollege courses are just what they sound like: courses you take before college.

Precollege PROGRAMS though sometimes offer college level courses.

so…would you have to find college courses that are for high school students, or that highschool students can take along with undergraduates?
I’m confused on how to find them… for search results i only get summer precollege programs or online college degree-earning programs…

I know it’s a bit late but are there any college courses still available for application?

You would have to find college courses that you take along with undergrads. College classes specifically for high school students are usually treated like high school courses; after all, if it’s designed for high schoolers is it REALLY college level work?

You can take just about any UG college course as long as you can prove that you’ve taken any necessary prerequisites. Many students do this if they’ve topped out at their HS in math, FL, etc.

You need to work with your HS GC or go to your local college and ask about registration as a non-degree seeking student. I doubt you can start a class for fall, it’s too far into the sem/qt, but you could get your ducks lined up for winter.

are community college courses taken during school year
also given equal amount of approval, some amount of approval, or just “eh…big deal” ?

so would an extension course at berkeley count as taking a college course, and show that you’ve got some determination?
btw… this specific course is an online course that you can enroll on anytime.(goes on for 6 months)
Would i have a grade to submit by the time i’m handing in my applications?
