I was just wondering if people suggest majoring in engineering or biology or just taking predental (at the U of Alabama). Are engineering majors or biology majors more likely to get into dental school? Are there advantages or disadvantages to either option? Suggestions much appreciated.

Unless it is different from the med school game, “pre-dental” is not a major. Dental schools have a set of requirements you must fufill while you major in something. Assuming you could do equally successful in both, there would be no difference. I imagine you would do better in the one you enjoy more.
