I though it'd be kinda fun to predict your score, based on how you're feeling right now, hours after the test (maybe it's just me, but things get kinda screwy when you're trying to remember how you did weeks later), and then on March 20th at 8:01 we can repost with our real scores!

I’d rather err on the side of too low than too high…better yet, let’s do ranges. For the essay, I guess a range of 1 point is adequate; for CR-W-M, 20 point range. Feel free to provide an analysis of your performance.

Essay: 10-11- I used two solid examples, and my thesis was good. I used a couple awkward phrases and my conclusion was a little iffy, but my overall style was decent.
CR: 730-750- This is always my worst section on the practice exams, although I felt rather confident for the most part, definetely moreso than usual.
M:760-780- I felt really, really good about this! And although I’ve never gotten a perfect, I usually only get 1-3 wrong.
W: 760-780 (w/Essay)- I felt pretty good my choices. I didn’t leave any blank, and I noticed a lot of small errors that I wouldn’t have noticed before my crazy 3-month blitz of studying!

Like you, I’d rather predict low so there is a less chance of disapointment. So I’ll guess 2250. I was happy with Reading, especially with the passages, but I know I got one wrong for sentence completion. Math I was confident on each answer, but it’s so easy for me to make a careless mistake there. For writing I was confident on al but a few, but my essay wasnt too good. Usually I am a very strong writer but I just couldnt get into a good rythem for the topic they used.
750R, 770M, 730W (8)

Essay: 10-12, really can’t remember how well I wrote it, but my examples were great
Reading: 770-800 Can’t think of anything I got wrong, maybe one SC
Math: I didn’t feel good about math at all, I ran out of time on both of the 25 min sections (one exp obviously) and had to make a guess in each. I also know I got one wrong. 740-770
Writing: Was ok I though, probably 750-800, really up in the air for me

Essay: 10 or so - it was okay until I rushed at the end.
Reading: 720-760 - generally my worst section. I left three blank, but looking at people’s comments around CC, I think I got the vast majority of the ones I answered but was still slightly iffy on correct.
Writing: 750-790? - no idea, really. If my essay is only a 10, it’ll probably be on the lower end of that spectrum. (Though I have 800 from the last time, so if I don’t do fantastically, it wouldn’t be the worst thing if schools superscore.)
Math: 760-800 - I felt really confident about the math, though last time I did significantly worse than I’d predicted.

So let’s say 2250. I’m hoping for more, but I don’t want to jinx anything.

Essay: Hopefully around 10…I think my examples were pretty good but it wasn’t too well written, but who knows, this is my first SAT essay…
Reading: Hopefully 700-750, I would be happy with anything above 700 and ecstatic with anything about 750.
Writing: 750-780? I think I may have gotten a few wrong, changed my answers like 5 times and now I think I should have gone with my first instinct…
Math: Hopefully 800, I checked like 3 times and really hope I didn’t check questions incorrectly…

I’m hoping for anything 2200+ this time around…though anything higher than 2250 would be great.

Hi all! First post here. Why didn’t I start visiting these boards a month sooner, when the SAT still mattered :p

Essay: Shooting for the 12, baby.
Reading: Hoping for 760, pretty sure I got at least a 730.
Writing: Hoping for 800, pretty sure I got around or above 770.
Math: I always make little errors, so I’m hoping for a 750 (that would make me very happy). Probably got above 700.

If all goes well: 760CR, 800W, 750M = 2310 :p

What I can pretty much count on: 730CR,770W,700M = 2200

2400 baby!
hah i WISh.
ummmm but:
800 Math
730-780 Reading
780-800 Writing (9-11 Essay)
this was my first time, and i would LOVE not having to take this again, so my goal was above 2250…hopefully I got a 2300 at least this time ! Cause I’m sure everyone knows…that the month befoore SAT prep is NOT fun. it was hell!

I need 2300+, I was aiming for a perfect score, I may get lucky, but with my current 3 mistakes (one in each) I’m feeling nervous about my chances.

Essay- 10-11 - I used multiple examples; I usually write good philosophical essays and use various examples to support it. Within each paragraph/premise, I’ll use 2-4 examples to support it- not exactly the SAT formula essay. My last example was a bit weak, and my conclusion was hurried, but I’m generally a decent writer.

Writing- 760-780; This was my worst section on the PSAT, but I found it overall pretty easy.

CR- 740-760; I did pretty well on the the PSAT, but I found the test to be pretty hard (my experimental was the CR too, so it freaked me out).

Math- 780-800; This is definately my best section, and I haven’t gotten any wrong on the PSAT or SAT (ms) before, but silly mistakes are my specialty.
