what do people think?

We need to identify the difficulty of each sections first.

Reading= Medium
Math= Easy
Writing= Medium

MOAR updates

i think math was medium too, because there were several tricky questions where if you didnt think them through carefully enough, you would make careless errors (i.e. the trips question). writing i agree with medium. reading i agree with medium.

Personally i thought vocab was harder than usual but im not 100% sure

Objectively speaking, I think Math was the hardest section of the test. Even though I am quite sure that I got all the answers correct, I noticed that the math section had too many tricks that previous tests did not.
Also, Writing was the easiest part. CR seemed much easier that in the previous tests, but maybe that is just me.

I think math was the easiest. Is that a bad sign because we are not going to get a good curve? 1 question wrong might take down 30 or more points? :frowning:
CR was so tricky for me.
Writing was ok-ish.

CR
800
800
770
750

Math
800
780
750
720

I thought that the Critical Reading was easier than past tests. In my opinion, I think the vocabulary was easier than past tests and the passages as well. I think Math was about average… there were a couple of tricky questions. I think Writing was average as well, but again there were a couple of tricky questions.

For writing, if you get like a 10 on the essay, how many can you get wrong to get a 800??

@Janice1019 Check out this SAT score calculator. It tells you the chance of getting a certain score based on past curves. According to this score calculator, if you get a 10 essay and 1 wrong, there is 19% chance of getting an 800, but a 43% chance of getting a 790. <a href=“SAT Score Calculator - The College Panda”>http://■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com/sat-score-calculator/

Does anyone think there’s a slightest chance math is 800 800 770?

i think 800 790 770 maybe

Math was easy. No way one wrong gets you an 800. More like 800 770 750

anyone else totally screw up CR? I’m pretty sure I got 800 on math and writing but im looking at about a 60/67 for cr because of that stupid mountain passage along with a few others that i overthought/were ridiculously subjective. of course this is all assuming that the answers that are being spread are all correct. but i definitely thought that this cr was more subjective than were those in the past (i don’t think i’ve gotten less than 61/67 since my very first practice). i really hope they give a nice cr curve, but as a first actual attempt this went relatively well. hope everyone does well.

oh and for math if anyone doesn’t get an 800 solely because of the trip question then you have my condolences; when i saw that question i knew it was gonna get people :(

CR seemed to be about as subjective as it usually is. It was perhaps a little more difficult than usual though. I’m sure two wrong will still garner you an 800, and I’d imagine that 7 wrong still puts you in the high 600s. If you really did ace the other two sections then things are still looking pretty good for you.

My main concern as of now is the essay. I’m pretty sure I only got one wrong in the whole test, but of course it’s in focking writing. Now I’m forced to sit here wondering about what the writing curve is gonna be, and what my essay will score. In everyone’s experience, how often do essay graders disagree by a point? That is, how often do odd scores like 9s and 11s really show up? I ask because typically essay scores of 11 and 1 wrong on MC will still garner you an 800. My worry is that my essay definitely isn’t good enough to get two sixes. That pretty much means I have to get one five and one six. But how common is that? Won’t one grader’s score inevitably influence the other’s?

what do you think 3 cr wrong will be? i am so mad at myself because 2 of the 3, i had the right answer and changed it last minute.

i do not think one readers score will influence the others too much. dont worry, i got an 11 on the essay on the last mock test i took…in other words, it happens. even with 1 cr wrong and a 10, i imagine you would still get at least a 780.

Ok, thank you. To answer your question, 3 wrong on CR is probably like a 760/770
