I am a Pakistani citizen and i wish to apply for Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. I am also applying for need based financial aid.

My school doesn’t do ranks but i am like top 5 out of a class of 309.

Guys predict my result in these universities(yes i know the list is long but i felt insecure )

Drexel
Bucknell,
University of Rochester
Lehigh
Lafayette
Tufts
Vandy
John Hopkins
Cornell
Princeton University
Duke University
Yale
Brandeis
Fairfield
Stevens Institute of Technology
Harvard
Swarthmore

You have pretty high chances at Cornell! And their engineering program is amazing, so you’d have an amazing experience there. As with Harvard and Yale, so many talented students are applying that they basically have to choose at random between their most competitive applicants. Good luck though!

@archie4life thanks. Any thoughts about Lehigh and Lafayette guys?

You don’t have “pretty high chances at Cornell.”

Reach for Cornell, Rochester, Johns Hopkins, vandy, duke and mega reaches at Harvard, Princeton and Yale.

Not familiar enough with other schools.

Your SAT is low for all these schools.

@Jpgranier thanks  and yes i know that. last time i checked my SAT was in the range of Rochester but i can be wrong. Any thoughts about the other Universities

Have you taken multiple SATs? Many of the schools listed super score

@Jpgranier Single sitting all of them. I didn’t have enough resources for the books and the academies.

Cash i mean :stuck_out_tongue:

lol don’t take this too seriously:

Drexel: acceptance
Bucknell: acceptance
University of Rochester: waitlist
Lehigh: acceptance
Lafayette: acceptance
Tufts: rejection
Vandy: rejection
Johns Hopkins: rejection
Cornell: rejection
Princeton University: rejection
Duke University: rejection
Yale: rejection
Brandeis: acceptance
Fairfield: acceptance
Stevens Institute of Technology: acceptance
Harvard: stop dreaming buddy
Swarthmore: rejection

@sciencenerd123 thanks for the prediction  No i wont :stuck_out_tongue: I just hope i get into Lafayette or Lehigh. Anything else is a bonus lol

Is it even possible to get a 4.5 gpa unweighted? I thought the highest UW gpa was 4? I guess your school uses a 5 gpa scale.

@skfp123 sorry it’s 4.6 weighted gpa and 3.97 unweighted gpa.
