UW GPA is probably what’s going to keep you from getting into some colleges, but your course rigor is insane, so who knows. Most of these colleges are very unpredictable too.
That unweighted GPA and your SATs might be an issue. If you can get your SATs up, even to just 1510, you’ll have an even better shot at Stanford and Princeton.
The new SAT scaling is a bit skewed (the college board website has a score converter that accurately converts it- i got a 2100 on the old but according to college board, my converted to a new would be a 1470) so in my experience, a 1440 might be a little low for the schools you are applying to. Your weighted is definitely a little bit lower, but your rigor of classes is definitely a draw. I can’t really give you a definite acceptance/rejection list but I will try. Also you really should take some SAT II’s. Of course it also depends on where you live and whether you applied early or not. (I’m just going to assume you didn’t apply early)
Princeton: Reject
Umich: accept
NCSU: accept
Rice: maybe
Cornell: accept
CMU: accept/maybe (only because of your major- it depends on the sat breakdown- like if your reading was super high and your math was so so you might have a hard time)
Vanderbilt: accept
Northwestern: maybe
UPenn: maybe
Columbia; reject
HMC: (i don’t know too much about this school)
MIT: reject
Stanford: reject
Princeton (SCEA)
UMich (EA): A
NCSU (EA): A
Rice (rejected from SOAR):M
Cornell: A
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer):A
Vanderbilt: A
Northwestern: M
UPenn: M
Columbia (accepted to CE^2):R
HMC (accepted to Fall FAST):M

You sound extremely qualified. With the exception of MIT, I wouldn’t be surprised if you were accepted (even if waitlisted initially) to almost every school listed.
Princeton - deferred, then rejected
UMich (EA) - A
NCSU (EA) - A
Rice (rejected from SOAR) - wait list
Cornell - A
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer) - wait list
Vanderbilt - A
Northwestern - A
UPenn - R
Columbia (accepted to CE^2) - R
HMC (accepted to Fall FAST) - wait list
MIT - R
Stanford - R
SAT and ACT are good, but a little low for Princeton, Stanford and Columbia. Kill the SAT II’s to compensate. An author and an entrepreneur is very impressive. Make sure to play that up. I think those could more than compensate for your slightly sub-par SATs at top schools. Without strong SAT-II’s, here’s what I’d reckon
Princeton - deferred, then reject
UMich (EA) - A
NCSU (EA) - A
Rice - A
Cornell - A
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer) - A
Vanderbilt - A
Northwestern -A
UPenn - toughie, probably A
Columbia (accepted to CE^2) - A
HMC (accepted to Fall FAST) - A
MIT - tough call… I’d say good shot at A
Stanford - R
Princeton (SCEA) R
UMich (EA), college of engineering? non MI resident? R
NCSU (EA) A
Rice (rejected from SOAR) R
Cornell R
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer) Maybe
Vanderbilt R
Northwestern R
UPenn R
Columbia (accepted to CE^2) R
HMC (accepted to Fall FAST) R
MIT R
Stanford R
Your ECs, grades and class rank are top notch and on point. If that SAT comes out to be a 1500, then you should surely be ready to accept a decision from the top 5 in your list! GOOD LUCK!
Princeton (SCEA): R
UMich (EA): A
NCSU (EA): A
Rice (rejected from SOAR): A
Cornell: A
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer): A
Vanderbilt: A
Northwestern: A
UPenn: Waitlisted
Columbia (accepted to CE^2): Waitlisted
MIT: R
Stanford: R
You’re definitely a really competitive applicant, so at this point it has a lot to do with luck in my opinion.
Also, your letters sound super amazing haha
Princeton (SCEA): Waitlist
UMich (EA): Accept
NCSU (EA): Accept
Rice (rejected from SOAR): Accept
Cornell: Accept
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer): Accept
Vanderbilt: Accept
Northwestern: Accept
UPenn: Accept
Columbia (accepted to CE^2): Waitlist
HMC (accepted to Fall FAST): Accept
MIT: Reject
Stanford: Reject
Great EC’s they will defintely help balance out the slightly below average SAT scores for the top schools on your list .
Princeton (SCEA): Defer, then reject
UMich (EA): Accept
NCSU (EA): Accept
Rice : Accept
Cornell: Accept
CMU Accept (possible merit scholarships)
Vanderbilt: Reject
Northwestern: It can go either way
UPenn: possible accept but you never know
Columbia: Waitlist
MIT: Reject
Stanford: Reject
A lot of the people here are rating your chances artificial and subjectively. They aren’t accounting the fact that extracurriculars are weighed as much, if not more, than your scores. I think your scores are generally good, but nothing that would somehow earn you acceptances to every top school, like some of the above posters predicted.
Here is my prediction:
Princeton (SCEA) - DEFERRED/REJECT
UMich (EA) - ACCEPT
NCSU (EA) - ACCEPT
Rice (rejected from SOAR) - ACCEPT
Cornell - WAITLIST
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer) - REJECT
Vanderbilt - REJECT
Northwestern - REJECT
Penn - REJECT
Columbia (accepted to CE^2) - WAITLIST/ACCEPT
HMC (accepted to Fall FAST) - ACCEPT
MIT - REJECT
Stanford - REJECT
Princeton (SCEA): R
UMich (EA): A
NCSU (EA): A
Rice (rejected from SOAR): R
Cornell: A
CMU (on campus interview with admissions officer): A
Vanderbilt: A
Northwestern: A
UPenn: A
Columbia (accepted to CE^2): R
MIT: R
Stanford: R
I think you’re a competitive applicant for most schools on your list. In my opinion your only weaknesses are your UW GPA, ACT score, and class rank, but you said you’ll move to number one and your SAT of 1490 is pretty good. I think your hooks and ECs will also help you a lot. The one thing I saw (correct me if I’m wrong) is that you don’t have subject tests. I don’t know about a lot of schools, but I know Princeton wanted to see at least two math or science subject tests for those interested in engineering. Anyway, here are my predictions:
Princeton SCEA: really not sure, maybe defer
UMich EA: accept
NCSU EA: accept
Rice: accept
Cornell: waitlist or accept
CMU: accept
Vanderbilt: waitlist or accept
Northwestern: accept
UPenn: waitlist or accept
Columbia: reject
HMC: accept
MIT: reject
Stanford: reject
However, if your essays are as good as you say, your chances will probably be increased!
