Predict the Curve for March

haha, i dont think foreigners cheat a lot. i think theyre just better at math

No dude, they do. They like have cards and everything in their jackets. My friend who is a transfer student from China told me.

yea esp the people in the asian countries…they r just amazing at math…well…not all but plenty to the American students away

ok whatever, so that means that we have no smart asian people taking the
SAT reasoning and our curve goes UP

wait, but isn’t it preset? so regardless of smart, cheating asians it’ll remain unchanged.

i hope cr 800 = -4 lol

wait r we talkin about asians in America or in the far east? lol

i think cr is probably -2 =800

anyone want to guess what 2 omit, 2 wrong (i’m guessing, i probably made 2 stupid mistakes) on math is?

Does anyone else think a -1 in math might be an 800? How often does this happen, and if you think it might be, why?

Maybe because the math seemed so easy, people may have made a few careless errors, allowing the math curve to be -1  (crosses fingers) As a side note, any input on the writing curve too?

AnonPerson1, I’m not sure what they may be on this test, but I think that score may be about 720 for math.

geeze how can people consider the math so easy  maybe it’s because I spent too much time double checking my work on earlier questions I wasn’t confident with the later ones. CR seemed so much easier

Critical Reading was really hard on this one! Except for that one about gardening…

I did the Math backwards on this test…that worked out really well…I think I might have 800. -3 on CR though (770-780?).

doing it backwards is actually a good idea if you think you’ll be short of time, which I was. I should have done that! then I wouldn’t have been able to squander all my time of problems 1-15

hmm doing the math backwards is a very interesting method..but if you think about it, wouldn’t it take less time to get the points for the first half of the questions since they’re easier than starting on the harder questions first? no matter how difficult, all of them count for the same amount of points.

So, anyone who has taken the SAT before and thus seen the real curve have an estimate of this curve?

the math was tricky imo, grammar and reading wasn’t too bad.

hope to god there is a curve on math -1

duchess26200
it is preset. let’s just hope it is lucky.

and why would you connotate smart and cheating with asians? lots of people cheat. i don’t see how being asian has anything to do with it.

See what angers me is the arbitrary proctors. Some allow blatant cheating while others regard cheating as a grave offense. See I had two answers that I had in math with 20 secs left. I got the answer, and the proctor yelled at me for trying to bubble them in.. of course like 3 secs after she called time…

Hey, tell me more about this “backwards” philosophy, azn&proud. It sounds interesting. Where did you get the idea and has it been successful for you? Teach me! :)
