CONGRATULATIONS!!
@MYOS1634 Thank you so much!!!
What is a likely letter? Is it an early acceptance orrrrr, like what does it mean exactly?
@ndemazita
it’s an early acceptance
@ndemazita What Hawkace said, it’s an early acceptance sent out to recruited athletes or top applicants (the latter for me, I suppose)
I also got into Northeastern a few days ago, but I didn’t put that on here for chancing.
Would like to get some more predictions before decisions come out!
Got into Cornell with another likely!!
Also got into NYU with a full tuition scholarship!!!
Any predictions for the last few schools??
HAAHAHA tell us all your secrets!! This is great!
@ndemazita I’m guessing my URM status is the secret hahaha. But thank you!!
Damn… all those likely letters… I am so jealous of you man, wish I was also URM
However, ur EC’s are also outstanding, as well as your scores, so imo you do have a pretty strong shot at the rest of the school. By strong, I mean for like Harvard ~15 to 20 percent compared to the avg acceptance rate of one digit.
No one can guarantee you for those top schools, but you still have a strong chance compared to other candidates. Congratulations man, I wish I can get accepted into at least one of the Ivy that I want to go already
btw, when did you apply for NYU to receive a decision already?
@jkl0619 I applied just regular decision, but they named me a Deans Scholar so they told me early. I guess that’s like a likely for NYU. Thank you though!! I’ll keep this thread updated right up through March 31st
Wow I actually forgot a school on here and never even realized it… I also applied to Stanford. I know all of these schools have minuscule acceptance rates, but i mean I think it’d be fun to kind of guess and see how accurate you get.
Like Accepted/Denied/Waitlisted
Anyone?
NYU, Cornell and Penn, not surprising.
Harvard -> Waitlist Yale -> Accept Columbia -> Waitlist (based on deferral…might still turn out accepted) Stanford -> Accept…either way don’t think you’ll get straight rejected anywhere…lol impossible to guess really
@dblazer I heard that you can’t be Waitlisted after a deferral, which sort of makes sense since you already had to wait like 4 months hahaha. But thanks I’ll let you know how happens soon!
Anyone else?
Bump
I would say Cornell and UPENN you are a low reach/high match, as for the other schools I owuld say reaches but you have more of a chance because URM
@Samlandon I actually already got in to Penn and Cornell with likely letters, I was curious about the other schools but thanks for chancing!
oops my fault haha didn’t read the other comments, but congratulations!
@Samlandon No worries haha, you predicted correctly! Thanks!!
