Saw this on the SAT Subject Test forum and thought it would be fun to have here. Have at it! In a few weeks we can see if we're right or not!

Writing- I have no idea, it felt kind of sloppy but I did get about 2 1/3 pages written.

hmm… today didn’t go so well, (at least the science section didn’t go well for me). I’m pretty sure I’ll be sticking with my SAT scores.

I’m thinking:
English- 33
Math- 32
Reading- 32
Science- 24 eek…
Essay- I don’t know. When I was writing, I thought it was one of my best SAT/ACT essays, but then when I quickly skimmed it before time was called I thought all of my paragraphs were on point but I didn’t feel that all of my transitions were very smooth and I feel like my intro and conclusion were strong but that I may have strayed a little from one of the points I presented in my intro… not good. But I’m still thinking that I can maybe pull out a 9/10… hopefully a ten. Who knows?

Composite- 30

I just hate the science section! I either take my take and get most of the ones I answer correct but run out of time and guess randomly on the last 7-10, or I rush, get through them all, but don’t read well enough and miss 7-10. I am so pressed for time on science! This time, I began reading/taking time so I think I did well on the first few sections, then I completely rushed, guessed without reading the question on probably 6, and didn’t read the last two parts very well… ughh.

On the April ACT “curve” you might say, your scores would be as follows:
English- 35 (72-74/75 got a 35)
Math- 35 (57-58/60 got a 35)
Reading- 30 (37/40 got a 32, 36/40 got a 30… I hate when scores jump like that)
Science- 31

My school paid for all juniors to take the ACT at the high school in April. I ended up with a 31. Two things about that test made me sad. 1.) My science was a 23. You predict the other scores. LOL 2.) There wasn’t a writing section; that limits a lot! I know I got into the 30’s again. I really think my score will hover between 31 & 32. I pray I get a 33!! Science was still horrendous; however, I know I improved tremendously. Watch science go up and all the others tank. I would assume the fetal position and cry.

@anoy

if 36/40 was a 30, then how is 35/40 a 31? (this is science)

and for english:

what does this mean

(72-74/75 got a 35)

Science - 31 or 32

Composite - 30 to 31

You are aware that almost no good schools accept the ACT without writing, including UF.

I feel like I can have a range of 25-28. 27 is the most likely. Eeep.

Dabig-

Ya most will transfer your writing from one test to another though

Rtgrove: Really? That’s what I’ve been wanting to know. So my previous writing scores will be accepted with my new composite score from this time?
