Predict your score for the PSAT

Writing: 75
Critical Reading: 78
Math: 80

Ehn. Received 227 and 231 on two practice tests, hopefully this is better. Not like it counts this year (sophomore) but whatever.

wow that is really good for a soph! (especially the math!! wooohoo lol)

Woww 230 As A Soph!!! Genious

maybe he's being overly optimistic. I got 1510/1600 my soph year. It's not that hard. Still, junior year is the year to take it.

i took the SAT as a soph and got 2220... (800 math wooooooo)

should i take it again? i got 690 on CR, which is a MIRACLE since i suck at vocab, etc

i think i could get much higher than the 730 writing

and the math, could only go down cause of stupid mistakes

so...should i???

2220 as a sophomore? WOW

ilovemath- im really good at math and its my favorite subject. Somehow, I cant seem to score 700+ on the SAT? I'm in Alg.2 right now. How did you study for the math and get a 800?

thanks! i took the SAT in the middle of PreCalculus, i took the Math IIC right before i started precalc (got 800 =D). well... i didnt really study for math so i dont know if i can help you. what is the order of the maths you take? (im in NY so we learn in by Regents Syllabus= Math A and then Math B). have you taken geometry and trig? if you havent, that could be it i guess. what u should do is see what questions u r getting wrong. if it is a specific category, just do practic problems in that. if it is time management, u can take pracice tests under real testing conditions and improve that. also, make sure you are familiar with collegeboards general math rules that they provide (i.e.: one is not a prime number; the set of real numbers, integers, prime numbers etc.; the fact that sum of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the third; etc) cause many people can forget these simple concepts

hope that helped... lol

gxing ........ you said in your predictions that you will get a 700.... But if you only got three wrong, you score would be in the 740-760 range .....

oh yeah ive taken Alg.1 and Geometry and am now in Alg.2. WIll be taking Trig and Pre-Cal next year.

anyways ive figured that i missed 4 on writing..... and omitted 2 and missed 3 on math(one being the -1 slope one:().....that would be a 74 w and 66 m right?

no, five wrong shouldn't be as low as 66. It should be somewhere in the low 70's I should think.

last year, i think -5 was a 66. -1 was a 76, so i doubt -5 would be (actually, it's -6 for him) in the low 70s.

last year PSAT i think i got 4 wrong math and got 70 but im not sure anymore

it'd depend on the curve. I think the psat for this year might have been more challenging.

i got 76 math as a sophomore and 70 as a junior, did anyone else go down this much between the 2 years?

Im thinking 233-240 right now, but as time goes on my projected score will go down...
CR:80
M:76-80ish
WR:78-80

3 practice tests (2 from last year's two versions, 1 the practice one)
230, 231, 228

CR: 60-70
M: 65-70 :(
W: 65-75
Selection Index...- 190-215. how I would love to know for sure....

Critical Reading: 68-75
Writing: 75-80
Math: 55-62

I am really worried about my math score. My goal had been to reach the 60's or above in each section, but now that seems unlikely to happen. :(

M:77-80
Cr:76 - 80
W:77 - 80

230 - 240

because i am an international student, it is only a good practice to me.
