Predicting student summer income for CSS profile

<p>My son is a college junior, and I am completing CSS profile for him.
Last summer he was very fortunate to land a wonderful, high-paying summer internship. Likely he will do so again this summer, but he doesn't have anything lined up yet, and I really have no way of knowing what he will do this summer or how well it will or won't pay.</p>

<p>Any suggestions on how to answer the following question on CSS profile?</p>

<p>Enter the total amount you expect to earn in wages, salaries, tips, etc. during the summer of 2013. (3 months)</p>

<p>Conservatively. If it could end up being as little as zero, say that.</p>

<p>I put 0 in for my D’s and also a very brief explanation. I wouldn’t include income we don’t yet have. I agree, be conservative.</p>
