Prediction of Grades in Courses

I have absolutely no idea where most of my grades stand. I'm taking five classes, and at most, I know 70% of the final grade (in one class I only know 20% of my final grade) and most are around 40-60%.

Wesleyan

Psych: C (as many of you already know)

Italian: A/A+
French: A/A+

Morphology: B/B+ assuming I bombed the final. If I didn't then maybe an A/A-

History: anywhere from B to A....depends completely on how I did on the final.

Heh...turns out I DID bomb the final and I did end up with a B....man the final musta been worth a lot then.....I did really well on other things int he class. Thats what I get for not adequately preparing for it. Oh well. Now just got to find out what my score in my history class is.

Right now, it's

Organic Chemistry A-
Genetics and Evolutionary Biology A
Spanish A

At northwestern, where 3 classes is a full load since quarter. It's a 3.9 which isnt bad, but they screwed up around 15 points on my orgo final so I'll get the regrade done when I get back.

Hamilton College

The Black Self: A-
Biomedical Ethics and Law: A-

Ended up with a 3.134, which isn't outstanding compared to all the other posts here, but I'm pretty proud of it. It's enough to get me dean's list.

Of course, I need to pull things up for next semester if I'm still interested in medical school...but for my first semester, it's not awful. The grade deflation is pretty severe and the transition to college was a bit rough...so it could have been worse.

Is Wake just that difficult or is the deans list kind of low?

Dean's list is only a 3.0 (which is low compared to a lot of other schools) because of the grade deflation. It's pretty difficult to make As here...

Harri, you look like you're doing quite well too at Illinois.

Universtiy of Illinois Urbana-Champaign first semester

Calculus III Multivariable - A

Final grades are in - very pleased, outperformed my expectations on the final exams/papers which helped my borderline grades

Organic Chemistry I = B
Philosophy of Knowledge = A
Biology & Society = A+
Cultural Context of Evolutionary Theory = A
Issues in Evolution & Humankind = Pass
Weight Training I = Pass

GPA = 3.75 (Most likely Dean's List)
