Predictions for June 2006 Tests

What time do they post the results on Monday????

I think 5am Eastern time.

some people say 8am, some people say 5am (both est).

USH- i would be shocked if i did not get 800
Math 2- 650-750
Physics- 620-720

Math I- 710
Chem- 720

I thought raw score for 800 on SAT Chem was 78.

The raw score for an 800 varies test to test. Usually a raw score of around 75 or above gets you an 800. It definately gets you close to an 800 anyway.

pretty scared.

i have a question and i don't want to create a new thread for it.

i took the us history test once already, and got a 600. i didn't really prepare.

i took it again in june.

if i get 700 or above in june, i don't plan on retaking, but if i get a sub-700 score, is it wise to take it a third time?

It depends. Fortunately for you, the next testing date is in October (I guess it's also kinda unfortunate since you risk forgetting the material) and what you will have to do is look at the websites of the colleges to which you want to apply. Look for links on the sites that talk about the colleges' standardized testing policies and find out how they regard multiple tests. If they take your highest score, then I would say take the test again only if you really need to. But if you don't get a score you like on the second test, then consider taking a different SAT over a subject which you feel comfortable about. Some colleges only require two SAT IIs, so if you have taken 3 different subjects, and 2 of your scores on different subjects are satisfactory, then I would say not to worry. But if you definately want a 700+ on this test, or more importantly, if you feel that you need it, then take it again if your colleges take your highest score. Some people say that colleges think you're obsessed with test-taking if you take it more than a couple times, but I've never known any colleges that only take your highest score to care about how many times you take a test. At any rate, I wish you good luck. Hopefully, you'll get a 700+ and not even have to worry.

World History 720-800 hopefully :)

thanks rlh0234, it's people like you that make this site awesome.

No problem. :P

Physics: 750

Math 1 - 780-800
Chemistry - 760+

Math IIc: 800
Physics: 800

I'm pretty confident :)

I learnt that it is never good to be over optimistic. Heh.

^Seriously.

Optimism sucks.

Pessimism - at least you won't be disappointed. And if you did well, you'll be happy instead of "whatever, just as I expected".

I always try to be optimistic during the task itself, gives me better morale. When I finish the task, I'll try to demoralize myself as much as possible when I wait for the results. =)

740+ Lit

680+ Bio? Hopefully.
