<p>Predictions on how many spaces might be available for the wait list people this year??! Are alot of ppl going to reject the acceptances? I really want to get into the school!! Please share your thoughts

<p>I know right ._. Davis is my top choice college… plus, I got rejected from nearly all of my other ones. I really hope I get in… </p>
<p>According to the Davis 2012 Waitlist FAQ, about 6,000 kids were waitlisted…yikes.

this is soo sad. But since davis is my first choice im going to give it a shot</p>
<p>I accepted the waitlist at UC Davis as well, but I also accepted the waitlist option at Irvine and Santa Barbara… </p>
<p>There is no way of predicting the amount of people admitted from the waitlist… Many UC’s last year did not accept ANY - ZIP - ZERO - NONE… Hopefully, this is not the case this year…</p>

<p>Ahh I am definitely going to wait for Davis, but while I wait I will probably send in a SIR to UCSB, just in case I get rejected :s</p>
<p>By the way, does anyone know if we need to send in an official transcript to the UC campuses we were waitlisted at, or is just updating our senior grades on the MyAdmissions page good enough? ~.^</p>
<p>You only need to update your grades online. Sending your transcript is not necessary nor is it recommended :). I was waitlisted to Davis too… And sb and irvine -__-. To be honest I was shocked. I definitely expected to get into all three. Oh well. I’m accepting my waitlist offers at all three but I’m really nervous everyone else is doing the same so it’ll be difficult for a lot of us to get off the waitlist. :/</p>

<p>Do you guys know anything about the design program?? Do they accept you based on the number of ppl in that major? Whats exactly are they looking for… Im so stressed haha cant even focus on school work anymore:/</p>
<p>Correction on my last post. I meant do they accept u only based on their open spaces on that major or they accept you based on your essay amd grades? What weighs more?? Btw… My stats are pretty bad

<p>Man. What do you think of physics majo… I rejected by A LOT OF COLLEGES including Boston U, Boston College, UCSD, UCLA… I don’t think it is my stats’ problem… :(:(:(
