Congratulations @yoamogatos and @go2mom! So exciting You must be very proud.

Where do we access the portal? I havenāt heard anything from Claremont except from CommonApp. No emails/no nothing.

@hopefullyhopeles yes I didā¦Iām dreaming of SoCal weather though, having gone through too many New England winters

DRSCCC, you should have received an email a day or 2 ago from CMC announcing the decision time today. The portal is

https://connect.cmc.edu/account/login

The login is your studentās email address and a password they had to set up.

Did any ED admits get a notification regarding the merit scholarship? Also, did information about the financial aid packages come out?

shiamakgirl - my daughter applied RD and received notification that she received a merit scholarship. We have not received FA info at this time.

Daughter admitted. Probably going to attend; still waiting on decisions from Duke & Stanford.

Waitlisted, possibly because CMC already accepted two students from my school ED2. Third waitlist so far (after WUSTL and UChicago).

@go2mom,

Which scholarship did your daughter receive?

Carotid, she received the McKenna.

Does anyone know what the admit rate is this year? Both Pomona and Mudd fell to record lows, and Iām guessing CMC did as well.

Any word on the Seaver Leadership Award or the Interdisciplinary Science Scholarship?

Accepted

Reports indicate that CMC did again have the lowest admit rate among the 5C. Reported rate of about 10 percent.

Wow. So 4 of the 5 most selective liberal arts colleges are going to be the Claremont Colleges. Thatās really somethingā¦

^ Yes, and that is really the best way to look at it. Pomona has been an incredibly selective college for a long time. And arguably still the most selective when the term is not used solely for admission rates. What is remarkable is how Mudd and Pitzer have progressed in terms of admission rates.
