I realized a couple days ago that I messed up with the PS column. The Princeton application didn't explain what that meant, so I only figured it out when I was filling out the common app. (I had thought it meant if you had done it after graduating high school, as in if you had taken a gap year, etc.)

arbiter--we had a "PS" discussion a while ago.
You are actually right--that is what Pton means by PS, not what it says on the Common App. I called them up and asked them because people on CC were nearly attacking me for saying that it was the gap year thing.

haha 1 strike is probably all it takes to get rejected ...
I can't believe I missed that...
maybe I ignored it on purpose when I was filling out my apps. haha. dumb move =/

I better get cracking on those RD apps. lol

What is the PS column?

one of the columns in the EC section, next to 9, 10, 11, & 12.... it means "post secondary" and you check it if you did the activity during a gap year after graduating HS

wait do u think the admissions officers will understand that if someone checked of the PS column they meant they want to do it in college, like on the common app

^haha oops yeah hopeful89 I thought that's what it meant too.
I'm sure they'll understand when they realize that we haven't graduated yet.

i'm sure a ton of people did that, no worries

phewww...i was having a bit of a panic attack; i hope they won't think im demented b/c of it- oh well whats done is done :)

yea i didn't attatch a resume either. instead I highlited a few key things in the "what else" option

I just updated the page so that the decisions are in color!
Makes you want to choose "accepted" more, doesn't it?

For those who are feeling happy and christmasy (or hanukkahy or kwanzzay or new yearsy), please click an ad at the bottom of the page so I can actually afford to run the server >_< Also... it might bring you good luck next week?? :P
