Preference by State? New York Student Chances?

Hi everybody. I am a New Yorker. I heard that the state contracted colleges at Cornell give preference to New York State residents is this true? Anyway, below are my "stats". Please help me out an evaluate! Thanks so much! From, A nervous ED Applicant.

New York State Resident

Good and Bad welcome! I can't wait to hear from you all! Thanks sooooooo much again!!

My stats were slightly slightly lower and I got in, and I'm from Long Island, so I think you have a good chance. There are SOOOOOOO many people from Long Island and Manhatten here so I think NYers have a good chance. I've also heard that the State Funded Schools have to take a certain percent of students from NY so that might help you too. I'm not sure if that is true though. Good Luck!!

Any advice? I don't mind if you say that my chances are bad, but I just need to hear from somebody! Please! AAAAAAAAAAAARRGGGG. Thanks so much!

How about people from New Jersey (International student)
