<p>Is it true that undergraduates recieve preferences for the grad programs at their current schools? For example, do Harvard undergrads get preference to Harvard Law, or do Columbia undergrads get preference at Columbia's grad school for journalism? If this is true, how much preference do you get...?</p>
<p>It depends. For HYPS, the law schools are all amazing, and usually accept mostly students from elite colleges, like HYPS, so many students at Harvard LAw are from harvrad, etc. On the other hand, if you went to like, Princeton, and are applying to Harvard Law, it probably will not make much difference.</p>
