<p>i am applying to UM one of the questions on the common application is
" Are you applying for Preferred Admission? (Preferred Admission Programs are only for applicants applying for the Fall 2011 term.) "
i wondering what is preferred admission. i am applying for LSA.</p>

<p>Preferred admission is for only certain programs like the Ross BBA. If you are applying to general LSA then you need not check that box.</p>
