Preferred Admit Pharmacy

Decisions for the Preferred Admit Pharmacy spots are to be made March 1. I was told by the LS&A Admissions Department that this decision will not be available through Wolverine Access. Has anyone heard anything yet? If so, did you hear via email or snail mail?

I got an acceptance letter yesterday.

Congratulations! You have a wonderful future ahead of you. Nothing in our family mailbox yet; guess we will be waiting for the mailman today! Good Luck to you.

Congrats! I am wondering if anybody knows the selectivity/competitiveness of the Preferred Admit Pharmacy program? Any stats?

The Preferred admit program admits about 20 students per year; I don’t have the number of overall applicants.

From U-M website: “Students are considered competitive for the program if they score 29 or better on the ACT or 1280 or better on the SAT and maintain a 3.5 grade point average as calculated by the University of Michigan. They also must have completed at least three years of laboratory science (biology, chemistry, and physics) and four years of college preparatory mathematics, all with grades of B or better.”
