I recently got a letter and email from Tulane telling me that I am a "preferred applicant," meaning that I don't have to pay an application fee or write an essay. Is this merely Tulane's attempt to beef up its applicant pool, or is it actually possible that I stand a chance for scholarship money to which they alluded?

... I'm fairly certain that everyone that applies online to Tulane gets the fee waived.

But apply anyway (because of the free bit) and see what they offer.

u still ahve to write an essay

^ No you don't, except for the common app essay.

really now.. i must of saw something else then

lol whatever I wouldn't want to go to college in New Orleans nowadays anyway. Thanks for the posts.
