Preferred Bama Bookstore

We have a family friend who would like to buy a graduation gift to a bookstore in Tuscaloosa for our graduating son, that he can use for books, supplies, spirtwear, whatever his heart desires. Is there more than one on or near campus? Is there one the students prefer?

There is only one on campus. The University of Alabama Supply Store, aka Supe Store.
[Welcome | University of Alabama Supply Store](http://www.universitysupplystore.com) They have 3 locations on campus.
My DD was impressed with their selection of Apple products on our visits. It is a pretty big store, the main one in The Ferg.

We have also suggested gift cards from there for family members that have inquired.

Make sure you compare prices at the Supe and the Off Campus Bookstore…son bought books at both for both semesters first yerar…some books were much cheaper at one versus the other. The Off Campus Bookstore is off of Hackberry which is walkable from campus while the Supe is at the Ferg… the Off Campus Bookstore also has apparel items but is not as big as the Supe. I would suggest checking out both before buying books :)

I’d suggest an Amazon gift card. I know it’s not Tuscaloosa local but much more practical. If it doesn’t have to be for books, TCBY, Chipotle or Publix would be good choices.

The Supestore offers gift cards and often has coupons for 20% or 25% off regular priced clothing and souvenirs.

Knowing a lot of male UA students, a Publix gift card would be even more appreciated as it gives them money to buy the chicken tender sub at the deli. Publix also carries a small assortment of UA merchandise.

Amazon is a very popular place for UA students to shop, especially if they have Amazon Prime student accounts.
