<p>I was filling out the form on the common application site when they asked about my name.
I actually have a preferred LAST NAME and not a preferred first name. Many of my school documents are listed under my preferred last name while my exams and official scores are under my legal last name.</p>
<p>If I were to fill it out, where should i put my preferred last name?
would it be in the former last name section? (or is that just a section for when people marry)
or put it in the "Preferred Name, if not first name" section?</p>
