Preferred Name

<p>If my legal name is Hannah (this is just an example, not my real name) but I prefer my name to be spelled Hanna (or maybe Anna), would I put that under preferred name?</p>

<p>P.S. - Some of my teachers spell it differently than my legal name and I think my teacher who is writing me a recommendation spelled it in a different way and I am worried that colleges won't realize that she means me... :P</p>

<p>Am I just worrying too much?</p>

<p>They will piece it together, as long as your application info is correct and matches SSN and stuff it will work out</p>
