I am not sure about VCU, JMU, UVA, Rutgers etc. so I cannot chance you for those but I think, from what I know:

John Hopkins - high target
Duke - reach
UPenn - reach
Columbia - reach
Harvard - high reach

You really need to get a higher SAT score and get those leadership positions otherwise those 4 years of effort will mean nothing as you will just have been a member for 4 years and not have accomplished anything in terms of leadership; at least that is how it will seem to ad-coms. Also, what are your SAT II scores?

I think you have a good chance at many of those schools, especially because of having 4 years in certain ECs (shows great commitment) and high level of success in MUN and Academic Team.

To get a really good hook, though, I’d try to do something big and volunteer oriented this summer. You have cool interests, and you have community service, but combining the two can show real passion. Any way you could start up a summer program mentoring younger kids in MUN or general academic skills?

Also, I think it’s be great if you could bring your SAT up to 2300+ as you’re planning on doing.

Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about admissions to hazard a guess on chances, especially given how seemingly arbitrary they are.

But… how many kids per year does your school send to your goal colleges, and how do you compare to them in academics and ECs?

Keep up the good work, for sure, and develop that one specific passion!

Sat IIs? I’m taking them May 1. I would guess 750-800 for USH, 750-800 for Bio, and 600-700 for Math

Well, my school sends NO kids to top schools, maybe 1 or 2 ivies per year. Our val this year is going to U Chicago (her dream school)…but I’m in a special center for 'Leadership, Government and Global Economics" within my school that kids from all over the county applied to. In that each year, of the 40 kids, 15 go to UVA, 15 go to William and Mary, and the other ten (slackers) go JMU, GW, VCU, etc.

Havard - High Reach
Columbia - Mid Reach
UPenn - Mid Reach
Johns Hopkins - Low Reach
Duke - Mid Reach
Tufts - Low Reach
William and Mary (IS) - Good Match (Closer towards ‘in’)
UVA (IS) - Good Match (Closer towards ‘in’)
