<p>So I did terribly in Chem 2070, 2080 and Bio 1440 - I didn't fail but I was really close to failing. I still want to be premed and wanted to know if I should retake these intro classes at a local school to average the grades or if I should just do better in my other science classes from now on. I'm a rising sophomore in HumEc.</p>
<p>I am sure you already know what you are up against. Unfortunately, the classes that are most important for pre-med are science. You will have to seriously evaluate why these classes are so difficult for you because they only get harder from here. I do not believe that med schools would allow/look favorably on re-taking these classes and you won’t be able to “average” the two. I know it is difficult to have to face but getting into medical school is very competitive. I wish you well.</p>
