This link has got everything you were asking! Admission stats, interesting courses, pre-med timeline and requirements.

[Pre-Medical

And, UT Austin does have advising for pre-med students.

ContactsContacts (Scroll down to where it says Health Professions Advisors)

Also, if you got/get into Health Science Honors (a branch-off from Dean’s Scholars Honors Program) you will have priority access to advisors.

Health ”>http://cns.utexas.edu/honors-scholarships/health-science-honors ]Health Science Honors](<a href=“http://cns.utexas.edu/careers/health-professions/programs/pre-medical]Pre-Medical[/url ”>http://cns.utexas.edu/careers/health-professions/programs/pre-medical )

@smartone92: thank you! this is very helpful.
I imagine that you use these stats to compare with others to make the best decision?
Simplistic question -
thank you, anu
