<p>I still think that you need to have some assurance as to what they can pay. IF they can pay it all, they need to say so. 
If they can’t they need to say that also. </p>

<p>Your parents need to realize that timing is everything. You could miss some opportunities if they’re not being upfront about the money. you said that they’re not familiar with American schools. OK. You need to explain to them that you need assurances NOW of what they can pay so you can make wise decisions.</p>
