Hello,

Is there a pre-med program available at McGill University? I have been looking and it says Medical Studies for Undergrads but it seems more of a med school thing. I'm so confused to exactly what they are talking about. Any clarity would be a great relief! Thanks.

Premed is just a track.....if you want to be premed you just need to take the medical school prerequisites. McGill does have a premed program as I have heard it mentioned several times but I cannot seem to find a website for it.

mcgill does have a premed program but as far as I know it is only open to students of the province of quebec who have studied the local CEGEP high school education system.

If your interested in getting into med school, I would recommend any biological science course especially physiology, microbiology and anatomy. I am currently an Anatomy major and I love the course. However, I guess physiology and microbiology provide a wider range of options in case you don't make the cut to med school.
