I visited UofM last week and loved the campus. I was wondering though if they offer any meetings with advisors or specific pre-professional tours? I want to get a better idea of how they treat pre-meds and how the pre-med process works there. At GVSU and Albion I was able to meet with pre-medicine advisors as well as tour the buildings I would be involved in. At MSU I was able to visit Lyman Briggs, where many pre-meds study. So what is available at UofM and who should i get ahold of?

bump! extremely old post, but still interested!

I'll bump this too because I'm interested on what any current or past students have to say.

They don't treat premeds any differently here. It's a big school; it's up to you to seek out advisors. I still haven't met mine.

They also have Pre-health "Quick Questions" see this link for LSA advising weekly newsletter Advise Me Weekly Newsletter
My son is not pre-med but has had no problems making advising appts in both LSA and engineering as a current student. Yes, you do have to seek this out yourself.
