<p>^31 is very reasonable for acceptance in combination with the reasonably matching school list. Well, we do not know his GPA, so hard to tell. The combo of stats/Med. School list is crucial, much more than the number of schools. Another crucial factor - apply as early as possible. 31 is enormous score for non-prep. My D’s diagnostic test was only 25 (before she took Physics and some higher level Bio class though). She spent ton of time preparing even though she did not need to prep. Gen. Chem. She got 4 choices out of 8 applied (withdrew from couple where she was waitlisted)</p>
