Prep Books for AP Micro/Macro Economics.

For those of you who took either AP test and received a 4 or 5, what prep book (s) did you use?

I've read from the Consolidated Thread that PR is exceptional for Micro, and Barrons, 5 steps are okay for Macro.

I'm in a school which doesn't offer an AP Economics course, but we've got an introductory econs course starting next year. How hard would you say it is to self-study AP Micro.

I have no idea. But personally, Micro is easier for me.

Anyone has an answer for prep books?

here is my imput after taking micro last May:
do NOT get the Kaplan book! I dunno what is good and what isn't for prep books in general, and so that book had a pretty cover and I got it. it had many WRONG answers, not just one or two, but many again and again, in the diagnostic section. then they had explanations that were just plain wrong, or completely backwards. after that I could not trust the book, as more and more problems kept popping up.
so then I went back and got the Princeton Review one, and I came to rely heavily on that as I studied. I read it completely about 3 times before the exam, and I found that I was extremely prepared after that. questions on the actual exam were just what I expected, especially in the Part 2s, as I was confident with both the graphs and the explanations.

I'm working on macro now (for this coming May) but I'm not ready to use a prep book just yet. I was planning on using the macro section of the Princeton Review that is on my shelf since it worked out so well last year. If that book is really weak in macro I guess I'll have to go find something else.
