Okay, I've been looking through...(I already read the cosolidated list of prep books & have decided upon..) I'm taking 3 AP's currently which include... & I want you guys's take on what I should buy.

AP ENGLISH LANG: PR... or is something better?
AP PSYCH: 5 steps to a 5 <- well, my teacher recommended this to me.. so I might just stick to this.
AP US HISTORY: REA vs. PR... I already have the AMSCO book so... or do you guys think just the AMSCO book alone will get me a 5?
suggestions please!

But, I'm planning to self-study for AP Spanish test... so any recommendations/suggestions for AP Spanish? Princeton Review??? Did anyone here get a 5 on the AP SPANISH test just self-studying?

AMSCO is more than enough for a five. I had both AMSCO and PR last year but PR was pretty much just a waste, and you can just find some released multiple choice sections online.
I had PR for AP Lang as well. It’s a really thin book and I only opened it about twice during the year - I wouldn’t waste any money on it if you have a decent teacher.
For AP Psych, my teacher, who helps write the rubric for the AP exam, recommends Barron’s, but I’m not sure how familiar she is with the other prep books.

I would recommend PR for APUSH, because it has a nice history review that is down to the point and has key figures and events in bold. It was very nice for brushing up the week before the test. The practice exams are also very close to the way the AP Exam is.

For AP Eng Lang/Comp, I would go with CliffsAP. There are plenty of good practice multiple choice questions to practice that are also very similar to the AP Exam. It has a nice glossary of literary terms in the back as well.

I didn’t do Spanish or Psych, but I know that the books for the other exams are good.

REA for APUSH, it’s got 6 full practice tests in the back with explanations for the answers and sample essays. I never used PR for US, but I felt it was lacking content for chem.
