Prep Books v. Prep Courses

Hi Guys,

I know, I'm pretty late in the game but I've just decided to go to law school and I've just begun studying for the Dec. LSAT. I'm trying to gage which would be the better approach to studying for the LSAT: study books or the Kaplan or Princeton Review courses. I would think that I would do better with the books (and save a lot of money) but everyone keeps suggesting that I take the courses. What do the courses offer that I can't get out of the books. Which have you found to be most helpful?

Thanks,
Asad

Take the courses that offer old LSAT tests.

A course in useful as it is a way of committing to study. A lot of independent, self-starters may find the classes a waste of time.
