I took a princeton review prep course. I absolutely absorbed all the material and strategies. My problem is I had very little improvement on their diagnostic tests. This greatly concerns me. I plan just to continue going over the material until the ACT and am hoping to see an improvement. Is it common to see an improvement on the actual test even though you see little improvement on the diagnostic tests?

hm, this is weird.. maybe the diagnostic test wasn't a good test.. if you feel you learned a great deal from the prep course and feel like you have a greater ability to answer more questions now, the diag test score would be higher.. it may just be a glitch.. i'd do what you said to do -- keep practicing until the next ACT and see if it helped.. you'll know by your score on that test if it helped or not
