I am looking for practice questions on Grammer.
I know BB, PR Barron's practice test books
have those questions, but are there any
texts containing good grammer questions?

What’s wrong with the Blue Book?

^^^

I think she (or he) meant ‘good’ as in more practice questions, not better.

BB is good, as well as PR and others,
but I want to keep those practice tests for later.
First, after reading your guide including grammer section (thanks alot)
I want my son to practice with lots of questions.
He will do the Gruber’s Math, too first.

My son will be 10th grade next month.
He is not yet well prepared to do the practice tests,
therefore, I want him to do more practices topic by topic first.
That’s why I am looking for practice books.

During 10th grade, he will be concentrating on
Math and Writing and vocabulary building with
lots of practice questions, then in 11th, he will do practice tests.
Do you think this approach is appropriate?

He is in UK education system and will write
IGCSE next May, so his study time for SAT is limited
for this coming year.

I think Barron’s Writing seems good, isn’t it?

I really admire your excellent work you’re doing for all of us.
Have you taken SAT? I am sure you’ve got very good scores.

Normally, I recommend jumping right into practice tests (or perhaps after one has studied vocabulary and/or grammar). But if you want a grammar source that has practice questions, [Guide to Grammar and Writing](http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/) is pretty good, though it might be unnecessarily advanced in many places.

At least have him take one or two practice tests at first to provide a framework for what he will be working toward when he does outside practice questions.

My only experience with Barron’s Writing is in their Barron’s 2400 book, which I flipped through a little while ago. I found the Writing section to be pretty good, but the questions are, of course, more difficult than those on the real thing.

Yes, I received 2400.

Wow, no wonder you can write such a wonderful guide.
I envy your mum as she doesn’t have to worry about her son’s SAT.

Well, do you recommend him to master vocabulary (and grammer) FIRST
and jump into practice tests ( a few).

He has got Direct Hits and will go over the 1000 words introduced in your guide
in a slow pace during sophomre year, then next summer, after IGCSE
he will take bunch of practice tests for one year.

Do you think learning lots of words intensively FIRST work more efficiently?
He may not be able to handle those though.
