Prep for internal transfer to McCombs (double major)

Hey everybody I’m UT class of 2019 and I’m interested in applying for a double major in McCombs school. Currently I’m a Electrical Engineering major. I did some research and saw the internal transfer stats and I know I need a 3.8+ gpa. Are there any other things I can do in my first year that can further increase my chances for admission? Are there any specific classes that I should enroll in to look better for the admissions committee? I know I still need Macro and Cal 1 credit to meet transfer requirements. I’m really excited to be a part of the UT community and I really hope to be able to study Business at McCombs!

Thank you all for your responses!
