I'm really hoping I get a 2000 or higher on my SAT's. I didn't do well on my PSAT's (1700) and as a Sophomore I was wondering if I study throughout the summer if I could boost my score 200 to 300 points and then study throughout my Junior year and hopefully boost it a little bit more by my Senior year. However, I heard you can only bring your score up about 300 points higher after you study?
I could really use the advice and tips on how to do better.
I've been reading books such as Jane Eyre, The Count of Monte Cristo, Catcher in the Rye, The Three Musketeers, etc. Also, I've been studying vocabulary words during my spare time.
Thanks so much.

Well I’m studying this summer too. Anyway I recommend getting the PR book, and for vocabulary go through PR’s hi parade which is in their book. Also get the blue college board book and go through that as well and get the PR 11 test book and do all the test. Make a schedule so you aren’t all over the place with studying. Those are good books to read, they help with the essay and vocabulary and comprehension. I reccomend The Great Gatsby because not only is it my favorite book but it worldly and really helps with the essay, at least for me it does.

And look at some on the methods posted on CC because some are really good… Good luck studying :)
