I study math, cr, and writing. each one alone. Ex 1st day math. 2nd day writing. 3rd day cr
I practice 2 sections of the subject on its day. But I just dont know how can practicing benefit me. ??
If all you do is problems, it won’t.
Go back and look at the problems you did in August. Classify the ones you got wrong by type.
I’ll speak to the math questions, since that’s my area.
Did you get the quadrilaterals wrong? The Circle problems? The proportion problems?
Find the patterns. Determine which types of problems you’re struggling with.
Then take a look at the problem numbers. Are you getting #4 wrong but #15 right? They’re in order from easy to hard, so you’re probably rushing the easy ones. Are you consistently getting the hard (higher number) problems wrong? Consider skipping them, at least for now, and see whether your scores increase.
A book I like a lot is “Up your Score, the Insider’s Guide to the SAT.” It’s written by a bunch of kids who got perfect scores, and it’s all about strategy. (I will acknowledge that they try WAY too hard to be cutesy. But the info is solid.)
@bjkmom all of the math mistakes that I do is a result of hastiness. I am quiet good in math like today I had to study math and I did 3 section. In the first one I got one mistake and it was just because I overlooked a choice. The 2nd section i got all correct. The 3rd I had two mistakes .The first is that tge question said 42 but i thought 42 percent. The second mistake is that I skipped a step in a question. So I will focus more next time one every step and word about the question. And I will what you told me into consideration. And I hope one time i get all 3 section correct
